The LW10F series are shutterless compact LWIR camera modules designed for simultaneous thermal imaging and precise temperature measurement.
By leveraging Amorphous Silicon-based LWIR sensors, the LW10F series eliminates the need for traditional calibration via a mechanical shutter. These modules deliver excellent thermal accuracy, even with changing temperatures, thanks to advanced image processing and optical technologies developed in-house.
The precision of Tamron’s proprietary signal processing technology ensures temperature accuracy of ±2°C*. When paired with a high-grade black body reactor, this accuracy can be enhanced to ±0.3°C, making the modules ideal for detecting symptoms such as fever in COVID-19 screening scenarios.
*Temperature accuracy is valid for target temperatures between 10°C and 60°C.
