At Tamron, we line up Long Wavelength Infrared lenses (LWIR Lenses) along with the visible light and near infrared compatible surveillance lenses. Recently, the demand for LWIR lenses is growing, as they are being used for different purposes as e.g. the surveillance of infrastructure, boarders, and coast lines.
To match the various needs, Tamron has developed LWIR lenses with unique features, such as Vibration Compensation (VC) and a fast aperture, and still managed the product to be compact in size.
