The M117FM-RG series is one of TAMRON’s tried and tested standard product lines. Tamron’s M117FM series exhibits remarkably low distortion compared to its predecessors (ranging from as low as -0.01% at the 50mm to -1.02% at the 6mm lens). This guarantees precise and reliable images.
Despite their size, these 29mm diameter lenses deliver reliable performance and are perfectly suited for vision systems with space constraints.
Built with a sturdy mechanical design, the M117FM series is vibration and shock resistant, outperforming previous models. In challenging setups with vibrations and shocks reaching up to 10G, optical (image) deflection is restricted to impressive 10μm. These lens can withstand vibrations with a frequency of 10-60Hz (amplitude 0.75mm) and 60-200Hz (acceleration 100m/s²) through 50 cycles.
The range covers all popular focal lengths in the machine vision market, starting from wide angle 6mm and 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 25mm, 35mm up to 50mm.
The lock-screws can be substituted with headless screws, which are included as spare parts. This reduces the overall diameter of the lens and provides greater flexibility for installation.
